Rewatchers
Terms of Service
Last updated: December 20, 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rewatchers. By creating an account or using the product in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Rewatchers.
These Terms work together with the Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, and protected. If anything in these Terms is unclear, email support@rewatchersapp.com.
1. What Rewatchers Does
Rewatchers is a simple email product that helps you revisit videos you've saved on YouTube. When you connect your YouTube account and select playlists, Rewatchers periodically chooses a video, generates a summary using AI, and emails that summary to you.
Rewatchers does not upload, edit, or delete content on your YouTube account. The connection is read-only and fully optional.
2. Using Rewatchers
To use Rewatchers, you must be able to form a binding contract where you live and use the product in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, keeping your login details secure, and any activity that happens under your account. If you connect your YouTube account, you are also responsible for complying with YouTube's own terms and policies.
3. Accounts and Access
You may need to create an account to use Rewatchers. The email address and other details you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
Access may be suspended or terminated if there is a reasonable belief the account is being misused, these Terms or applicable laws are being violated, or activity appears fraudulent, abusive, or harmful to the service or others.
You can stop using Rewatchers at any time. You can disconnect YouTube from within your dashboard and can request account deletion by emailing support@rewatchersapp.com.
4. YouTube API Services and Third-Party Terms
Rewatchers uses YouTube API Services to access certain information from your YouTube account, with your permission. Only the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly scope is used so Rewatchers can view selected playlists and their videos. This scope does not allow changes to your channel or content.
By connecting your YouTube account and using Rewatchers, you acknowledge and agree that Rewatchers uses YouTube API Services to retrieve playlist and video information as described in the Privacy Policy. Your use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your use of Google services is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Rewatchers' use of data received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy (including Limited Use requirements). By using Rewatchers, you agree that you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service in connection with any use of YouTube content through the product.
You can revoke Rewatchers' access to your YouTube account at any time via the dashboard and your Google Account settings under Security → Third-party access.
5. Acceptable Use
Rewatchers is intended for individual, lawful use. When using the product, you agree not to interfere with or disrupt the service, attempt to access data or accounts you do not have permission to access, or use Rewatchers in ways that violate YouTube's or Google's policies.
You also agree not to use the product to harass, abuse, or harm others, distribute illegal or infringing content, or reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code of the service except where allowed by law.
If these rules appear to be violated, access may be limited, suspended, or terminated.
6. Content and Responsibility
Rewatchers works with content hosted on YouTube. That content is owned or controlled by the respective rights holders, not by Rewatchers.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Rewatchers in connection with YouTube content respects applicable copyright and intellectual property laws, complies with YouTube's policies and your agreements with YouTube, and does not violate any confidentiality, contractual, or other rights owed to third parties.
Rewatchers does not review or moderate the YouTube videos you choose. Any opinions, materials, or information in those videos come from third parties, not from Rewatchers.
7. Service Changes and Availability
Rewatchers may change, pause, or discontinue parts of the product from time to time, including features, email options, or supported integrations. The goal is to keep the service available and stable, but there is no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Access to certain features may also be limited or restricted if necessary for security, performance, or compliance.
8. Disclaimers
Rewatchers is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
There is no guarantee that every email will be delivered or arrive on time, that every YouTube playlist or video will always be accessible, or that the service will be free from errors, bugs, or interruptions. Use of Rewatchers is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Rewatchers for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the service is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid for access to Rewatchers in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
This limitation applies to all theories of liability, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply; in those cases, the limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using Rewatchers at any time. To fully close your account, you can request deletion by emailing support@rewatchersapp.com.
Access may be suspended or terminated if these Terms are violated, if use of the service poses a security, legal, or operational risk, or if a decision is made to discontinue the product. If your account is terminated, access to the dashboard may be disabled and some or all data related to the account may be deleted, subject to retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. For changes that materially affect your rights, additional notice may be provided, for example by email or an in-product message.
Continuing to use Rewatchers after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Rewatchers is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a different law is required by where you live. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Rewatchers will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless another venue is required by applicable law.
